More than a bundle of joy . . .

Mama:

When Cayden is borned, he is like a small puppy weighing a mere 2.69 Kg. Joash always cradle him(tiny Cayden) against his body with one arm. But nobody told me that this small pup is a Jack "Rascal" breed !

When I picked him up from his infantcare two days back. One of the teachers was telling me that Cayden tried to climb onto a baby's bouncer and wanted to sit on it. I forgot to ask the teacher whether there was a baby on that bouncer !

When we were in Bintan, he was playing with the bedside drawers. The next thing I knew, he was trying to climb into the drawer.

He had already learnt how to escape from his walker and cot couple of months back. I do not want to put him in a playpen for too long, fearing that he will master the art of escaping it. I will only let him remain in the playpen when there is a need to.

I caught him trying to ride on Cookie who is my sister's bischon.
P/S Cookie will always try his best to avoid this Jack "Rascal". If Jack "Rascal" is sitting on the right, you will find Cookie on the far left. If Jack "Rascal" crawls towards Cookie, Cookie will immediately stand up and stare at the Jack "Rascal" most suspiciously !

He loves water and bathing time becomes his fav ! When he sees his bathtub placed on top of the sink, he immediately knows that it is time to bath. He will crawl toward the sink in top speed and will hold on to the ends of the sink. He will then try to climb up the sink and most of the time, he will hang off the sink like a monkey .....but...I do admire his determination to get wet !

Two days back, he was playing and crawling to and fro my room and my sister's room at my mum's place. When it was bed-time, I closed the door of my room. That Jack "Rascal" screamed at me and then flung himself face down on the floor and started crying. It really reminds me of those brats in the shopping centre crying their hearts out when they dun get what they want !

Having said all these, he is still our cute Jack "Rascal"....but I think it is time for some discipline.

East Coast Park

Mama :
Joash always feels that it is unsafe for tiny tots to be on two wheels. However, after hearing that Matthew has gone cycling for a couple of times and enjoying them totally that he is willing to have a go. So we went to East Coast Park.

We reached there at 10am and rented the bikes for a couple of hours. We ride all the way from Mac's to a little beyond Bedok Jetty. Cayden enjoyed himself except after we reached Bedok Jetty, he got cranky cos he did not sleep since 6:30 am. We parked ourselves under some shady areas so Cayden can rest for a short while. I had Cayden sleeping on my chest and I was lying on Joash's thigh........What bliss !!!

Remember Kieran ? He was one month old when I last met him.....and now......



we have both grown !!! ...but ....still pretty bald !

CNY 2006

This is my first Chinese New Year.....and I looked like a Kung-Fu master....... :)

At least, I got to R&R on the 3rd Day of CNY......Look at me, I felt so relaxed and happy !!!

Yiks.....Papa said I looked like a girl wearing "that" !!! (4th Day) .... hmmm.....and I am wearing "that" to school

PS : Mama and Papa exclaimed that my Ang Bao money is much more than both of theirs added together....but...how come I only get to play with empty Ang Bao ?!
